An industrial park in the Philippines has implemented Zetron's MS800A air quality monitoring system for routine monitoring of air quality within the park and surrounding areas. Zetron's technical team has completed on-site installation and operational training for this Southeast Asian client. The equipment is currently operating stably, and the client's technical staff can independently perform daily monitoring and data management.

From Installation to Hands-On Operation: Training Review

The training focused on equipment installation, system commissioning, data review, and routine maintenance. Zetron engineers assisted the client in surveying monitoring locations and installing the equipment, and performed system commissioning and calibration.

During the training, engineers explained the equipment's operating principles, procedures, and precautions to the client's operators and guided them through hands-on practice. Currently, several of the client's technical staff are capable of performing independent operations and routine maintenance.

What Issues Does the System Address?

In industrial park environmental management, the continuity and accuracy of air quality data form the foundation for developing management measures. Traditional monitoring methods rely on manual sampling or fixed stations, resulting in slow data updates and limited coverage, making it difficult to accurately reflect the actual conditions in different areas of the park.

The MS800A system features a modular design, enabling simultaneous online monitoring of multiple pollutants—including PM2.5, PM10, CO, SO2, NO2, O3, TVOC, and TSP—as well as meteorological parameters such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and atmospheric pressure.

The system supports real-time data upload to a cloud platform, allowing users to view and analyze monitoring data at any time via a computer or mobile device. This helps park managers track air quality trends in real time, promptly detect abnormal emissions, and provide data-driven support for environmental management decisions.

What Are the Benefits of Using This System?

The device features an integrated design, making installation and deployment relatively simple. It supports multiple data transmission methods—including 4G, GPRS, and Wi-Fi—enabling real-time upload of monitoring data to the management platform.

It features local data storage, supporting at least one year of data retention, which facilitates subsequent statistical analysis and report generation.

The MS800A system has an IP65 protection rating and operates within a temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, enabling it to withstand the high-temperature, high-humidity outdoor environments of the Philippines and reducing equipment failures and maintenance needs caused by environmental factors.

In addition, the system's real-time early warning feature automatically triggers an alarm when monitoring data exceeds preset thresholds, helping customers respond promptly.

What Other Scenarios Can It Be Used In?

In addition to industrial parks, this device is equally suitable for traffic environment monitoring, environmental monitoring in residential areas, schools, and hospitals, as well as in chemical plants, ports, wastewater treatment plants, power plants, and landfills.

Across different scenarios, the MS800A Air Quality Monitoring System allows for flexible configuration of monitoring modules based on actual needs, meeting diverse on-site monitoring requirements. Previously, this device has operated stably in a project in Saudi Arabia, demonstrating its adaptability in high-temperature and high-radiation environments.

As shown by this installation and training session at the Philippine industrial park, air quality monitoring is shifting from simple data collection toward systematic, platform-based management. While helping customers obtain reliable data, the MS800A system also provides a more efficient tool for environmental management.

As environmental protection requirements continue to rise worldwide, Zetron will continue to support more industry clients in achieving refined and routine environmental management through stable, reliable products and on-site services, and contribute to the continuous improvement of regional air quality.
